The QHA and its members are involved in many community activities throughout the year.
Members of the QHA Executive and Staff sit on a number of industry boards and representational committees, ensuring the Association is involved in the development of the wider hospitality industry at all levels.
The QHA also runs an annual fundraising program, QHA Hotel Care, that raises around $250,000 each year for medical research and Queensland's regional hospitals.

High Court Judgements Relevant to Hotel Licensees Posted: 16 November 2009
The High Court of Australia has recently handed down two judgements that will be of interest to QHA members and licensed industry stakeholders. These two cases establish important precedents for the hotel industry, especially as they relate to the duty of care of licensees.
A change in the Rules and Constitution of the Queensland Hotels Association has been submitted to the Australian Industrial Registrar for approval. A copy of the revised Constitution is available for public information is available below.
