This course takes an in-depth look at the structure and content of the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2010 ("HIGA") and clarifies some of the common queries surrounding the award system. The course runs for approximately two and a half hours.
During the session, attendees will be provided with an overview of the HIGA and the differences between it and the pre January 2010 awards that applied to QHA members, depending on the location of the hotel.

The differences between the HIGA and the pre-January 2010 awards and NAPSAs
The implications and practicalities of those differences, including those in accordance with Schedule A - Transitional Arrangements.
