Why You Must Have Your RSG Certificate
Meet upcoming QLD State-Wide Compulsory Requirements for gaming employees in licensed venues:
- The Queensland Office of Gaming Regulation (QOGR)has announced that any new staff working in the provision of gaming will need to be RSG qualified from 1 January 2009 (date to be confirmed)
- Comply with the Gaming Machine Act 1991
- Meet employer expectations and Licensed Venue House Policies
- Ensure your RSG is valid:
- Interstate RCG certificates are not recognised
When Should You Do Your APPROVED RSG
- In preparation for seeking work in gaming venues in QLD
- As per the pending compulsory QOGR requirement, get qualified before 1 January 2009!
Who Should Do An RSG
- Anyone who works at a licensed premises, engaged in the supply/service of gaming, including:
- Licensees, Nominees, Managers, Duty Managers, Gaming Attendants / Keno & TAB Operators, Floor Staff, etc.
