Course Topics
The course examines the following three ER elements:
- Legislation - the impact of legislative entitlements for employers and employees
- Awards - awareness of entitlements and differences between the modern Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2010 which took effect on 1 January 2010 and replaced various Awards and NAPSAs previously applicable to employers within the Hospitality idustry.
- Discipline and Termination - discussing best practice processes to follow for disciplinary and termination matters. Policies and procedures, as well as discrimination and harassment will be covered in this session.

- Each participant receives course handouts and workbook, support materials and certificate of attendance on completion. Refreshments will also be served.
